If you’re looking to perform professional joinery work in Queensland, you’ll need a QBCC Joinery Licence to operate legally as a contractor or subcontractor.

This licence covers a wide range of joinery work, including:

  • Fabrication and installation of timber fixtures such as cabinets, stairs, and doors
  • Manufacturing of windows, benchtops, and custom furniture
  • Use of woodworking machinery and joinery systems for internal fit-outs

To perform this work legally and take on jobs independently, you’ll need to hold the correct QBCC trade licence class.
